Monday Night Swing Dance Events @ SA Firefighters Banquet Hall (doors open at 6:30 pm

1st of September- Labor Day Break - NO CLASSES OR DANCING, Enjoy the holiday week.
8th of September- Johnny P and the Wiseguys performing LIVE to kick off September! 1st Monday is Student night, free entry with valid ID. Potluck night; bring your favorite goodies to share as you enjoy this amazing performance!
15th of September- DJ Gilbert spinning swing dance favorites. Celebrating September birthdays in the jam circle. DJ night is perfect for requesting a dance assessment from your teachers! Come out for a night of social dancing and bring snacks to share!
22nd of September- LIVE performance by The Lamplighters! Big band with a big performance we all love! Potluck night, please bring some of your favorite dishes and snack to share as we socialize and dance the night away!
29th of September- DJ Sheri shares her top tip top dance hits tonight. DJ night is great opportunity to practice new moves and get one on one time with your instructor for walk thru or assessment! We will be celebrating back to school, wear your favorite class outfit! Bring snack to share for social dance.

East Coast 1(Intro to Swing)-Taught by Gilbert & Emma. This 6-count dance is where it all starts! This class is available every Monday night. East Coast 1 is perfect if you are new to swing dancing and want to begin your dance journey and solidify your basics. This class will cover the main fundamentals to swing dancing such as basic posture, pulsing, weight transferring & core engagement
Lindyhop 2- Taught by Sheri & Jonathan. Advanced lindy, for dancers that have taken both basics and lindy 1 and have a firm grasp on 8-count, progress your moves to the next level with moves like the swing-out and lindy circle!
Charleston-Taught by Andrea & Marissa. Come get your kicks and learn this fast paced variation dance! Originally a solo dance, can be added to partnered dance, east coast swing, and lindyhop! Ideal for fast songs and upbeat tempos.

6th of October- Three Swing and a Miss performing LIVE at this test venue, please come check it out and let us know what you think about this event space for future dances!

Potluck night, bring your favorite undead dishes and spooky snacks to share as dance till the clock strikes 10pm!
